Strategic supply chain developments are continually used by companies to improve profitability and enhance their service offering. At Click-On Logistics we also believe that understanding the environmental impact of these developments also assists in delivering business profitability and credibility as well as enhancing corporate and social responsibility.
Our Environmental Supply Chain programmes are designed to assist businesses not just in measuring and reducing carbon from Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and calculating the carbon footprint, but also in the wider context of social responsibility. We recognise that it’s not just the direct consequences of our client’s operations that have an environmental impact but also those, which they buy from and sell to: in short, the total supply chain.
Our programmes are based upon assessing current business standards and outputs, understanding processes, the application of internationally recognised indices to produce a carbon footprint and social responsibility index and comparison to sector benchmarks.
Examples of our environmental support programmes are:
Carbon Footprint Assessment
The calculation of a business’s carbon footprint by product or service through analysis of GHG emissions across the total supply chain. Deliverables include the carbon footprint, understanding of GHG emission drivers, carbon reduction and offsetting programmes as welll as internal communications strategies.
The scope of the assessment can incorporate direct and indirect (supplier + customer) emissions.
Carbon & Social Responsibility Benchmarking
The benchmarking of empirical and qualitative standards between similar or related markets, organisations, businesses and sectors.
Environmental support is increasingly becoming an integral part of business strategy and features regularly in our training calendar.
